Book your calendars Canadians: You are booked for Canada tour of West coast to visit Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, all the way to  East Coast,  Ottawa, Montreal and Moncton.

Yes I know, its a disappointment that Toronto, my residing city,  is not among those host cities, but that is because of Toronto hosting Pan American games at the same time.

What is a better occasion than 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup games that will be hosted by Canada? Remember our great Vancouver Olympic games? Well guess what? The world will be blessed with Canadian spirit once again, this time in different cities from coast to coast and for FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The match schedule was unveiled this morning and I couldnt miss out to give an update here.

Here is the link to pdf of match schedule and location all the way to the Final

The time frame is June 6- July 5th, 2015.

As a host, Canada’s women national team does not have to play in qualification games.

For the first time, 24 teams will participate in Women World Cup games, including the participation of five teams from the AFC, three teams from CAF, three or four teams from CONCACAF (not counting the Canadian hosts), two or three teams from CONMEBOL, eight teams from UEFA, and one team from OFC.

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) has also announced that the highly sought-after tickets will go on sale in the third quarter of 2014.

So make sure you get your hands on tickets before its sold out,eh?!  as there will be many Canadians and many international countries’ fans looking for tickets.
